CURRICULUM

The school offers a comprehensive and diversified curriculum aligned with Uganda’s New Lower Secondary Curriculum. This learner-centered approach is designed to equip students with essential knowledge, practical skills, and competencies for the modern world.

Through this broad subject offering, the school nurtures well-rounded learners with critical thinking skills, creativity, and practical competence, preparing them for higher education, innovation, and future careers in a rapidly evolving global society.

In the new lower secondary curriculum from senior 1 to 4, learners are expected to take the following subjects:

The Core Subjects

At Kawempe Muslim Secondary School, learners study as set of core subjects and choose from a range of elective subjects that allow them to follow their own interests and to specialize in particular areas.

Compulsory subjects include:
