Welcome to the Games and Sports Department of
Kawempe Muslim Secondary School.
At Kawempe Muslim Secondary School, sports are a core pillar of our holistic education system. We believe that games build discipline, unity, leadership, resilience, and excellence. Through structured training, committed coaching, and dedicated student participation, we continue to develop champions both on and off the field.
Over the years, the school has built a strong sporting legacy, particularly in football, where Kawempe Muslim has become a national powerhouse in girls’ competitions and a strong contender in boys’ categories as well.

UMEA Games Girls’ Football Champions (Record Holders)
Kawempe Muslim has won multiple UMEA titles, including a record-extending 7th championship in 2026, cementing dominance in Muslim-founded school competitions.
Buganda Schools Championships Double Winners
Crowned champions in both boys’ and girls’ football categories, showcasing balanced excellence across teams.
National Football Dominance (Girls’ Category)
Recognized as one of Uganda’s strongest football academies for girls, producing top talent that competes at national and international levels.
Multi-Sport Participation
Active involvement in athletics, netball, volleyball, handball, and other inter-house and inter-school competitions.
Character Building Through Sports
Our programs have consistently produced disciplined, confident, and responsible young leaders through sport.
USSSA Elite Schools Girls’ Football Champions
Winners of national-level Elite Schools competitions, including the 2024 USSSA Elite Gold medal, remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament.
Regional & East African Representation
The school has consistently represented Uganda in regional school sports competitions, especially in football.
Consistent National Tournament Qualification
Regular participants and top performers in USSSA zonal, regional, and national championships.
Player Development & Progression
Many of our student-athletes have progressed to play for elite clubs, national youth teams, and professional academies.
