The main administrative block houses the Headmaster's office, administrative offices, and key management facilities. This central hub coordinates all school operations and serves as the heart of institutional governance.
The school’s science labs are built with lots of space to allow free and safe movement. There is adequate apparatus and chemicals to enable teachers conduct all the necessary practical sessions and demonstrations as per syllabus requirements. The school has installed smart screens to bring science home and to make it real. From biology, to physics and chemistry, students have access to all the resources they need to conduct experiments.
The school has a fleet of vehicles that are used for transportation of students to different functions and engagements. The fleet includes buses, permanent motor owner vehicles and others.
The school has a well stocked computer laboratory with a fast Internet connection thus facilitating computer aided learning technologies for both the staff and the students. With this development, the students have been able to acquire relevant ICT skills and also sit for the competence based curriculum examinations in ICT at all levels. Every class is fitted with modern smart screens used by teachers to bring abstract concepts into reality
The school has a fully stocked sickbay for medical purposes, first aid, or isolating and treating the sick and injured.
Kawempe Muslim Students’ Association (KAMSA) brings together Muslim students to strengthen their faith through prayers, Islamic teachings, and community service.
The school has well constructed accommodation facilities for both boys and girls each in a separate wing of the school compound.
Kawempe Muslim Secondary School was established in 1984 as part of Uganda’s education expansion policy aimed at increasing access to secondary education across the country
